SAN ANTONIO – Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is offering its customers a chance to receive a dozen free doughnuts on Thursday as part of "National Superhero Day".
Every customer who purchases a dozen regular-priced glazed doughnuts will receive another glazed dozen for free.

The gift is meant to be gifted to your "sidekick".
And while costumes aren't required to receive the freebie, they are "super encouraged," according to their website.
The giveaway is happening at all U.S. and Canada Krispy Kreme locations, with the exception of a few locations in Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee and Connecticut.
