SAN ANTONIO – The Alamo City Comic Con will celebrate its fifth year in San Antonio this weekend. 

This year’s ACCC will be held over Memorial Day weekend instead of late October, and a number of celebrity guests are scheduled to make appearances.

The Alamo City Comic Con is being held at the Gonzalez Convention Center. Here’s the full list:

  • Dave Bautista on Saturday only. (Best known wrestling career in WWE and role as Drax the Destroyer in "Guardians of the Galaxy" film franchise.)  
  • Val Kilmer on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Karl Urban on Saturday and Sunday. (Best known for role as Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy in new "Star Trek" film franchise.)
  • Karen Gillan on Friday and Saturday. (Best known for role as Nebula in "Guardians of the Galaxy" film franchise.) 

 

  • Dolph Lundgren on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Carl Weathers on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Frank Miller on Sunday only, VIP/Experience Package required. (Comic book writer best known for "The Dark Knight Returns" and "Sin City.")  
  • Ian McDiarmid all three days. (Best known for his role as Palpatine in the "Star Wars" film series.)

  • Sean Astin on Friday only. (Best known for his role in "Rudy" and "The Lord of the Rings.")
