SAN ANTONIO – More than 100 authors will be in town in April for a KSAT Community event.
The fifth annual San Antonio Book Festival on Thursday announced its lineup, which includes national, regional and local authors.
About 18,000 readers are expected to attend this year. Readings, panel discussions, book sales, and a variety of children’s and teen activities will be offered at the event, which is free to the public.
“There are books, something for everyone,” said Katy Flato, executive director of SABF. “From children’s book authors to Pulitzer prize winning reporters.”
New York Times bestselling author Ann Patchett is headlining the festival. The festival’s mission is to unite readers and writers in a celebration of ideas.
SABF will be held April 8 at the Central Library and Southwest School of Art. A detailed schedule of author sessions will be available next month on the festival’s website.
