SAN ANTONIO – Two juveniles stabbed a homeowner Wednesday in Fair Oaks Ranch and led law enforcement on a chase, police officials said.
The teenagers were arrested around 11:30 a.m. after the chase that ended in a crash at Loop 1604 and Interstate 10.
"The car exceeded speeds of ... roughly around 100 mph," Bexar County Sheriff's Office spokesman James Keith said.
Keith said the juveniles might have thrown something out of their vehicle around Interstate 10 and Camp Bullis Road.
The homeowner, Jenks Boston, was taken to University Hospital with multiple stab wounds.
The home invasion happened around 11 a.m. in the 31000 block of Keeneland Drive.
The Sheriff's Office said Boston was stabbed three times in the back. His mother-in-law, Mary Ann Simpson, said she walked in on the gruesome scene.
"Jenks was on the floor holding a towel or something on the wounds and there was blood everywhere," she said. "He had taken a shower, gotten dressed, put his gun on and someone pushed him down from the back."
Simpson said she couldn't tell if anything was taken from the home, but hopes that the people responsible "go away for a long time."
Boston is expected to be OK.
