2 people injured in Northwest Side drive-by shooting

1 person taken to University Hospital

SAN ANTONIO – Two people were injured in a drive-by shooting on the city’s Northwest Side.

The shooting happened on Santa Barbara Street.

A sergeant at the scene said one person was grazed across the top of his head and another was hit on the left index finger.

Police said at least 12 shots were fired.

There were no witnesses and police do not have a description of the vehicle.

The person hit in the index finger was taken to University Hospital. The other refused treatment. They’re both expected to be OK.
