SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are trying to find a couple who left their car on railroad tracks overnight, as their vehicle ended up being hit by a train.
The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. Sunday on tracks near South Brazos and Kemper which is found near Martinez Park on the city's near West Side.
Police said the couple ignored construction barrels and got their vehicle stuck trying to cross the tracks. They couldn't cross because there is no road in the location, officials said.
An eastbound train ended up hitting the car.
No one was hurt in the incident.
