SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating alleged child abuse after a young boy suffered a skull fracture and a lacerated liver, among other injuries.
Marc Gutierrez, 18, was charged over the weekend with intentionally assaulting and causing bodily injury to a child.

Investigators said the abuse allegedly happened because Gutierrez was about with the child for spilling cereal on the couch.
Gutierrez said he was watching the boy and sent him to a corner. Gutierrez said that was when the boy hit himself against the wall and the edge of a door frame.
