Sports Illustrated revealed the cover of its much anticipated Swimsuit Issue earlier this week, but the publication is getting backlash for the cover model's barely-there bathing suit.
24-year-old model Hannah Davis landed on this year's cover.

Davis was born in the U.S. Virgin Islands and has gained popularity over the years as the girlfriend of Derek Jeter. This is her third appearance in the issue all together.
The cover shot was taken at a blackberry farm in Tennessee and social media has chimed in with mixed reactions.
Some feel the picture goes along with Sports Illustrated's previous covers, but others say it leaves little to the imagination and below the belt.
