SAN ANTONIO – The manager of a West San Antonio apartment complex was killed by a gun-toting, masked man more than 20 years ago. Police are still trying to figure out who pulled that trigger, though they may know why the shooting happened.
Police said Yugveh Boberg and another employee were working in the office of the apartment complex on the 7600 block of New Highway 90 west on Jan. 13, 1995.

"As was customary for them, they had the office door open," police said.
A gunman wearing a ski mask walked in just after 3 p.m. and fired several shots at Boberg from a revolver.
"Yugveh Boberg suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and died at the scene from his injuries," police said.
Boberg was 58.

The other employee in the office was injured but survived.
"While the exact motive for this murder is not known, it could have been related to a series of illegal narcotic arrests made on former tenants at the apartment complex," police said.
