SAN ANTONIO – An investigation is underway after a Northwest Side home was severely damaged by a late-night fire, San Antonio firefighters said Thursday.
The fire was reported just after 11 p.m. Wednesday at the home in the 600 block of Alexander Hamilton, which is located not far from St. Cloud and Babcock Road.
Firefighters said when they arrived they found flames on both the back and side of the home. An electrical power line was also found on the ground, firefighters said.
No one was hurt by the fire. The damage to the home is estimated to be around $50,000. The official cause has yet to be determined.
