Firefighters battle intense smoke, flames in house fire near Lytle

Fire occurred just before 10:30 p.m. in 18200 block of Marcia Way

LYTLE, Tx – The Bexar County Fire Marshal is investigating after a late-night blaze damaged a home near Lytle.

The fire was reported just before 10:30 p.m. Monday in the 18200 block of Marcia Way.

Firefighters said they arrived to find the home fully-involved. Officials said no one was inside the home at the time of the fire.

A neighbor called a resident of the home to tell them about the blaze, firefighters said.

Authorities say the fire caused $10,000 worth of damage to the 700-square-foot home.

At this time, it is unclear what exactly started the fire. The investigation is ongoing.
