Hooded man wields weapon, demands money from clerk at South Side 7-Eleven

Robbery occurred Sept 16 at store near I-35 S, W. Southcross Blvd

SAN ANTONIO – A suspect during a robbery of a local 7-Eleven convenience store threatened to shoot the employee if they did not comply with his requests, San Antonio police said.

The robbery occurred Sept. 16 at the 7-Eleven located in the 6000 block of Interstate 35 South near West Southcross Boulevard on the city's South Side.

According to police, the suspect (seen above) entered the store brandishing a weapon and demanding money.

That's when, police say, the clerk complied with the request just before the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Anyone with any knowledge of the robbery is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
