Investigators said Tagle's stalking began Aug. 16 when the victim's mother called her and told her that Tagle was waiting for her to show up at a relative's home.

On Aug. 19, the victim told deputies Tagle sent her 10 text messages, with one saying, "Y'all moved out like little (expletive)," referring to the victim and her husband moving out because of Tagle.

The victim said Tagle also called her mom to tell her that he got a gun from a friend and he was going to use it to kill the victim and her husband.

According to an arrest affidavit, the victim received a temporary protective order on Aug. 27.

Six days later, investigators said Tagle sent 96 text messages to the woman with some of them being pictures of neighborhoods.

"I'll find you. I'm going everywhere," Tagle said according to investigators. "I'm a courageous mother (expletive). Ask the Mexican Mafia. I gotta go to protective custody cause I (expletive) them (expletive) off bad."

Investigators said the threatening text messages were a violation of the temporary protective custody, leading to Tagle's arrest.

Tagle is being charged with stalking. His bail has been set at $25,000.
