Law enforcement motorcycle clubs provide support for 100 Club

About 200 bikers participated in event

SAN ANTONIO – Law enforcement motorcycle clubs from across the state gathered in San Antonio to support and raise money for the 100 Club.

On Saturday morning, about 200 bikers rode from Caliente Harley Davidson to the San Antonio Police Department as part of the fundraiser.

The bikers said after recent shootings of police officers, it’s important to show support and camaraderie.

"In my 21 years of law enforcement, it's real important. Times are tough for everybody right now, both the public, the citizens, as well as law enforcement,” said Michael Marr, sergeant at arms of Reguladores Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club.

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus was also in attendance. He said the emotional support was overwhelming.
