Man accused of burglarizing same Southeast Side home 4 times

Daniel Beltran, 24, allegedly caught on surveillance camera

SAN ANTONIO – Daniel Beltran, 24, is accused of burglarizing the same Southeast Side home on four different occasions. San Antonio police said he entered the home while the family inside was sleeping.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, at least two of the burglaries were caught on a surveillance camera right outside the home.

The affidavit said that the video shows a man entering the home through a driveway door, then leaving with some of the property from that home.

On at least one occasion last October, police said the video shows the man making several trips in and out of the home -- carrying out items and placing them on the curb, then going back inside for more valuables.

The affidavit said that the burglary suspect, later identified as Beltran, took laptop computers, tablets, video games and other electronics as well as cash.

Police identified Beltran as their suspect through records at pawn shops where they found some of the stolen property, the affidavit said.
