Shooting victim found on Northeast Side street identified

Juan Anguino, 32, was found on Binz-Engleman near Maiden Way

SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the name of the person killed and left in the middle of a Northeast Side street last week.

Juan Anguino, 32, was found in the 8000 block of Binz-Engleman Road near Maiden Way in Northeast Bexar County.

Investigators are working to determine if Anguino died at the location or if he was left there.

So far, no arrests have been made in the case.

A resident in northeast Bexar County on Friday found the body of a man who was shot to death in the middle of a street.

Bexar County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Rosanne Hughes said when deputies arrived after 6 a.m. in the 8000 block of Binz-Engleman Road and Maiden Way, they found an unresponsive man. He was later pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made.
