SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating a motel shooting on the Northeast Side that left one man dead.
Authorities said 24-year-old Kenneth King was visiting a family member at the Budget Lodge on Interstate 35 near Seguin Road.

The relative said the man had left, but came back just a few minutes later and had been shot. When police and emergency medical services personnel arrived, they said the man was not cooperative and wouldn’t even tell police his name.
Emergency medical services personnel took the man to San Antonio Military Medical Center, where he later died.
Police said they are reviewing security tapes and talking to witnesses for any information.
