Man charged in fatal shooting of roommate

Police have not said if any charges will be filed.

SAN ANTONIO – A man died Sunday after San Antonio police said he was accidentally shot and killed.

Early Sunday evening San Antonio police arrested the mans 29-year-old roommate.

Police said he is facing a charge of manslaughter.

Police said they believe a friend of the 43-year-old victim shot the suspect at an apartment complex on Perrin Beitel Road.

The shooting occurred around 1:45 p.m.

The man was shot in the upper body. He was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition, but died a short time later.
