SEGUIN, Texas – Seguin police are investigating after a man’s body was found Monday night.
Police said they were called to the 800 block Boenig Street around 6:15 p.m. That is near the city's softball complex.
The body was found in a ditch. Police did confirm that they did get a call Sunday evening about a missing 19-year-old man.
That same family called police again on Monday to say they learned their loved ones body was found in the ditch.
The family identified the victim as Diamond Jones.
Jones' mother said her son was special needs and would not hurt anyone.
Police said there was no obvious signs of foul play. Though the family said they do suspect foul play.
Anyone with information about Jones' death is asked to call Seguin police.
