SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio Mayor Ivy Taylor is expected to officially announce her re-election campaign Sunday.
Taylor will run for her second full term in office in the May 2017 election.

A news release said Taylor plans to speak at CAST Tech High School on N. Main, where she will outline her accomplishments and goals for bringing together and strengthening the city.
Taylor defeated Leticia Van de Putte in a runoff election in June 2015 to become the first African-American to be elected mayor in San Antonio.
