Motorcyclist runs out of gas during high-speed chase

Adrien Jacques Gonzales arrested on evading arrest charge

SAN ANTONIO – A motorcyclist was arrested early Monday after he led a Bexar County sheriff's deputy on a high-speed chase.

According to sheriff's officials, a deputy around 1 a.m. saw a motorcyclist speeding and failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Southton Road and Loop 410

The deputy tried to stop the motorcyclist, identified as Adrien Jacques Gonzales, 41, but he failed to stop, officials said.

The San Antonio Police Department’s Blue Eagle helicopter took over the chase and followed Gonzales until he ran out of gas in the area of Southwest Loop 410 and Interstate 35.
