NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – An Army Veteran who is in hospice care in his New Braunfels home says his dying wish is to hear from you.
A Facebook post on the Arizona Veterans Fourm says Lee, who has suffered strokes and undergone brain surgery, recently asked his wife to hold his phone for him and when his wife asked why, Lee told her "in case someone calls."

But, after two hours, no one called and Lee told his wife "I guess no one wants to talk to me," the post says.
The woman who posted to the veterans forum encouraged people to call Lee at 210-632-6778, or text him. Lee is blind, but his wife will read him the text messages.
The goal, the initial post said, is to let Lee know people are thinking of him.
