The victim was identified as Martin Gonzales, 23. A cause of death has not been released.

A body was found in the trunk of a car Tuesday in Universal City.
Police were called around 9:40 a.m. to a residential area on Dukeway Drive after a passerby noticed a strange smell coming from a car.
When officers arrived, they found a body in the trunk of gray sedan.
Police said the body was wrapped, so they didn't know the gender of the victim.
The car that the body was found in was not reported stolen, police said. The car may have been there a day or two, police said.
