Police looking for suspects in Northeast Side murder

Shooting occurred Sept. 24 in 12200 block of Maverick Bluff

SAN ANTONIO – Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the person or persons responsible for a fatal shooting on the city's Northeast Side.

On Sept. 24, 2009 around 3:30 p.m. San Antonio police responded to a call for a shooting in the 12200 block of Maverick Bluff. 

When officers arrived, a friend told them he discovered Evaristo Sierra, 31, (seen above) inside suffering from a gunshot wound.

Witnesses said they reported hearing shots being fired, but could not make an identification.

A four-door vehicle also was seen leaving the location with several men inside, police said. 

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for new information that leads to an arrest.
