SAN ANTONIO – Tim Duncan's divorce from his wife of 12 years, Amy, is officially over as proceedings were concluded in a private manner Tuesday afternoon.
The San Antonio-Express News reported Wednesday that Duncan and his now ex-wife were granted the divorce during a secret hearing that did not take place at the Bexar County Courthouse.

The meeting was held in the offices of Tim Duncan's attorney, Sue Hall. Both parties along with their lawyers and state District Judge David A. Canales were present, the Express-News reports.
Details of the divorce, including division of assets and parental custody of their children, were not immediately released.
The couple has two children and were married in July 2001. Amy Duncan filed for divorce in late March citing discord and conflict in their marriage. Tim Duncan then filed a counter petition.
The divorce filing listed no names, but the initials "A.D." versus "T.T.D." and the date of the marriage led to speculation that it was the couple.
The petition also requested that discovery action be delayed until after the NBA Playoffs.
