SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio Pets Alive! is offering free tickets to Splashtown to anyone who adopts a pet during its Fourth of July Adoption Extravaganza.
Adoption fees range from $60 to $150 and include up-to-date vaccinations, a spay or neuter procedure and micro-chipping.
SAPA! kicked off its extravaganza at Splashtown on Monday with the "tail wagon" event. The group brought out a 26-foot contained adoption unit with dogs looking for forever homes.
"It's air conditioned, the dogs in there are comfortable, it's got running water and basically, it's a great way to hit the road with them and show them to parts of San Antonio that may not see them otherwise," Erika Mullens, Marketing Events Manager for SAPA!, said.
SAPA! will be at Splashtown on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
