SAN ANTONIO – A man was shot and killed accidentally by his own brother overnight, San Antonio police said Thursday.
The incident occurred just before midnight Wednesday in the 4400 block of Hampstead Street, found near South W. W. White Road and Rigsby Avenue on the city' s East Side.
Police said the victim, Jemichal Hardy, 26, had asked his brother to hand him the gun when it accidentally went off.
Police said the brother involved in the shooting was arrested.
There is no word however on if the arrest was related to the shooting, or what the charges are.
