SAPD seeks 2 gunmen in murder of man, woman

2 sought in shooting deaths of Cipriano Aguilar, Imelda Rincon

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding two gunmen wanted in the killing of a 20-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman.

At 3:45 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28, the two gunmen went to an apartment at 2503 Suzette Avenue and kicked in the front door.

Police said the two entered the apartment and shot 20-year-old Cipriano Aguilar and 21-year-old Imelda Rincon to death.

The gunmen fled the shooting scene in a blue 2000 Honda Passport, similar to the vehicle pictured above. SAPD said the two abandoned the car at an apartment complex at 2431 Pinn Road and set the vehicle on fire.

Investigators determined the gunmen were picked up at the Pinn Road apartment complex by unknown persons.

SAPD is now asking for the public's help in identifying the two gunmen seen driving the blue Honda and any information on the vehicles that may have picked up the gunmen behind 2431 Pinn Road.

One of the gunmen had a thin build and the other was described as having a medium build, according to SAPD.

Crime Stoppers said it will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the gunmen and those responsible for the capital murder incident. Call Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP (7867). SAPD said tipsters do not have to provide their name when calling.
