BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – A second detention deputy with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office has been arrested in connection to an undercover investigation announced last week by the department.
Investigators arrested Adrian Ambriz, 34, and charged him with tampering with evidence, deputies said.

Ambriz is accused of taking a cellphone home that was found during a security sweep of inmate cells last week, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Ambriz could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted on the charge, deputies said.
Ambriz has been employed by the Sheriff's Office since December 2004.
Deputies said Termaine Elliott, who was arrested last week, was officially terminated from his job Tuesday morning.
