SAN ANTONIO – The day after a special-needs woman was found shot to death in a Northeast Side home the victim's mother is still wondering who would kill her daughter.
Stephanie Woodford, 34, was found shot in the neck in a home on the 4900 block of Teasdale Drive.

Woodford’s mother, Laurel Anderson, said it was Woodford’s first time visiting the house.
“She said she was going to help her with remodeling, which I guess meant she was going to help her painting,” said Anderson.
Anderson wonders why the gunman killed her daughter.
"Tell me why. You didn't know her. You never saw her before. You never met her. Why would you murder her?" said Anderson.
Another woman was injured in the shooting. She suffered a head injury and was driven to a clinic.
Police said a man was seen fleeing the house. No arrests have been made.
