HARRIS COUNTY – KPRC, KSAT 12's sister station in Houston, had a viewer Shannon Walther capture videos of emergency crews attempting to rescue several horses stuck in high water at the Cypress Trails Equestrian Center in Humble.
Walthr said she lives near the equestrian center and is aware of how badly it floods in the area.

"I know when this place floods. I wanted to check on it," Walther said.
She said crews from the Harris County Pct. 4 Constables were trying to rescue at least two horses.
"I saw two horses with water up to their heads," Walther said. "One of the horses got swept under the bridge."
Walther begged for people to help in her Facebook posts:
"Anyone that has resources...Horse trailers, boats, life jackets, ropes...please get to to Cypress Trails Equestrian Center on Cypresswood to help rescue these horses! They desperately need all the help they can get! Horses are drowning and others are being swept under the bridge. Please help if you can!"
Another video showed a woman jumping off a bridge into the water to help a man pull a horse to safety.
Pct. 4 deputy constables confirm that about 70 horses were rescued.
Cypress Trails Equestrian Center is a horseback riding service.
