Eastbound lanes of Highway 90 at Military Drive reopened after 4 car crash

First responders called to scene for person trapped in car

SAN ANTONIO – The eastbound lanes of Highway 90 at Military Drive were reopened just before 2 p.m. Tuesday. The lanes were closed for hours due to a 4 car crash.

Police said a woman in her 30s was driving in the westbound lanes of highway 90 when another driver clipped her car from behind.

The crash sent the driver through a barricade, causing the car to become airborne -- finally landing on its roof in the eastbound lanes of the highway.

The driver hit two other vehicles before the car came to a stop.

She was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. Another person from another car involved in the accident was taken to a hospital to get checked out.
