2 women wanted in connection with beer bottle beating

Security guard hit with beer bottle while trying to stop theft

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are making an appeal through Crime Stoppers for help in finding two women who they say are connected to a beer bottle beating on the far West Side.

Police released photos of the women, taken by surveillance cameras inside Taco Cabana near HIghway 90 and W. Military in Oct.

Police said the two suspects walked into the restaurant, grabbed some beers from the cooler, then ran out to a waiting car.

A security guard however interrupted their escape. Police say that's when someone hit him in the head with a beer bottle.

The guard was not seriously hurt.

The two women got away, but police hope someone might recognize them from the photos and provide them with their identities.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.
