Spurs center Charles Bassey diagnosed with patella fracture, will miss remainder of season

Bassey will miss the remainder of the 2022 to 2023 season

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio Spurs center Charles Bassey was diagnosed with a patella fracture Wednesday and will miss the remainder of the regular season.

Bassey suffered the injury during the first quarter of Tuesday night’s game against Orlando Magic at the AT&T Center, the team said in a press release.

His diagnosis was confirmed after additional testing Wednesday, the release said.

The team will provide updates as appropriate.
