SAN ANTONIO – Clean-up crews made quick work of a fuel spill overnight caused by a 18-wheeler, San Antonio police said Monday.
The accident occurred just after 1 a.m. in the 9300 block of Southeast Loop 410 eastbound.
Police said something on the road punctured one of the fuel tanks, causing the 18-wheeler to lose 25 gallons of diesel fuel.
The driver exited on Southton Road and parked at a gas station nearby. Hazmat crews were called and cleaned the roadway.
No major delays were reported.
