SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police said they are looking for the driver of a vehicle who hit a man over night and failed to stop and render aid.
The accident occurred just after 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Vantage Drive and Pine Brook Drive, found off of Interstate 10 on the city's North Side.
Police said a man in his 50s was walking down Vantage Drive when he was hit by the dark colored sedan.
The man suffered a head injury in the accident and was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.
Police said the vehicle may have been a Chrysler 300, and that the driver could face multiple charges.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
