Man killed in multi-vehicle crash on far NW Side identified Police believe man had medical episode
HELOTES, Texas – Updated Tuesday at 10:49 a.m.:
The man killed in the crash was identified as David Carpentier, 69.

An elderly man died Sunday afternoon during a three car, head-on accident on the far Northwest Side.
Helotes police believe the elderly man had a medical episode just after 3 p.m. near the intersection of Loop 1604 and Braun Road causing the him to crash into another vehicle.
It is unclear how the third vehicle became involved in the crash.
A woman was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Police said it was her truck that was hit head-on in the crash.
A portion of Braun Road was closed during the accident investigation. Police did not release the name or age of the man killed, other that to say he was "elderly."
