SAN ANTONIO – A sliding crash into a highway sign support killed a woman and man just after noon on Saturday.
The fatal crash happened on Highway 90 westbound near Acme Road.

Traffic investigators said the woman driving appeared to lose control and skidded sideways into the large sign support.
Police said the crash instantly killed the man riding in the passenger seat. They said the woman died after being transported to University Hospital. Neither victim has been identified.
