TxDOT to host public meeting on improvements for North Side interchange

Interchange involves Loop 410, Hwy 281, and San Pedro Ave

SAN ANTONIO – The Texas Department of Transportation is hosting a public meeting on Thursday to discuss improvements for an interchange that involves Loop 410, Highway 281 and San Pedro Avenue on the city's North Side.

The meeting will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Castle Hills City Hall located on Lemonwood Drive.

TxDOT said key elements to be discussed at the meeting include:

  • Engage study area neighborhoods, businesses, transportation providers and the general public about transportation problems and possible solutions
  • Analyze existing traffic conditions and model future conditions under a “do nothing” scenario and with various improvement options
  • Develop conceptual schematic designs of potential transportation improvements
  • Provide technical memoranda documenting methodology, results, conclusions and next steps

TxDOT says the meeting will be conducted in an open house format and displays will be available for review and comment as study team members answer questions.

No formal presentation will be given.
