Chainsaw-wielding nun helps clean up South Florida community

Irma is no match for Sister Margaret Ann

KENDALL, Florida – The habit to help your community can be a hard one to break, especially if you are a nun.

Miami-Dade police shared video of Sister Margaret Ann cleaning up after Hurricane Irma.

The chainsaw-toting sister is seen cutting into a tree that fell during the storm.

The sister works at Archbishop Coleman F. Carroll High School in West Kendall, Florida.

Irma made landfall over the weekend with winds clocking in to 130 mph and damage across the state is quite extensive.

The police tweet ends by thanking everyone in the community for “working together to get through this! We are #MiamiDadeStrong.”
