Woman arrested in connection with shooting death of her husband in northwest Bexar County

Shooting happened in the 8400 block of Pico De Aguila

SAN ANTONIO – A woman was arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of her husband Thursday morning in northwest Bexar County.

According to Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar, another woman called 911 around 3:55 a.m. for a shooting in the 8400 block of Pico De Aguila, not far from Sierra Hermosa and Kyle Seale Parkway.

When deputies arrived, they found Damian Crow, 49, with a gunshot wound to the head. He apparently was shot while he was sleeping on a sofa, Salazar said.

The man’s wife, Veronica Crow, 51, was arrested and is facing a murder charge.

The woman who reported the shooting was not hurt.

Salazar said it appeared that marital problems led to the fatal shooting.
