13th Floor Haunted House San Antonio its doors for the 2023 season on Sept. 16 for select nights through Nov. 11.

The online booking website says the downtown San Antonio hotel sees an increase in searches on their site in October as people look for bone-chilling stays.

Yelp recenlty released its list of the top 10 most haunted spots in Texas and a San Antonio hotel took home the No. 4 spot.

The historic Magnolia Hotel in Seguin which is rumored to be haunted has new evidence that spirits are active inside its walls.

SAN ANTONIO – For the past 13 years, 96.1 NOW radio host Russell Rush has been traveling across the state and entering some of the most haunted places. He says it all started as a joke as he was hoping to just follow around some local ghost hunters and poke fun at them. “When we got there they were like, ‘I think I just heard something say Russell’s name,’ and I was like ‘hold on, wait a minute is this real,’" Rush said. From that point on he was hooked and the Russell Rush Haunted Tour began with his team visiting reported haunted locations every year. This year, because of the pandemic, they didn’t get to visit a new place, but they released three new episodes looking back at the scariest episodes from the past and released a lost episode.

SAN ANTONIO – Located just south of downtown, the King William District dates back to the mid-19th century as the first historic district in Texas. “It has such an amazing history and then it has some of the darkness that was left behind,” Fred Garza-Guzman, the owner of Curious Twins Paranormal, said. Ghosts of patients, nuns haunted abandoned Floresville hospital.

The historic Faust Hotel in New Braunfels is known for its ghost stories. Employees and guests have shared their spooky tales.

Located right off Bandera Road in Leon Valley, the Huebner-Onion Homestead and Stagecoach Stop is a historical landmark that is reportedly haunted. KSAT’s Erica Hernandez, Adrian Garcia and members of San Antonio Paranormal Investigations toured the property to see if they could find the ghost of Joseph Huebner, a prominent jeweler in the 1800s.
