At just 5 feet, 7 inches tall, Dibo barely reaches Kosen's waist.

The couple wed on Saturday in Kosen's native Turkey.

"I am the happiest man in the world," Kosen was quoted as saying on the website of the state-run Anatolia news agency.

The part-time farmer had to order a custom suit and size 28 shoes for the event.

He is one of only 10 people known to have ever topped 8 feet, according to the New York Daily News.

The tallest man ever was Illinois resident Robert Wadlow, who died in 1940 at 8 feet, 11 inches tall.
