SAN ANTONIO – Buddy Valastro of the famous TV show Cake Boss announced he will open a restaurant at the Shops at La Cantera this fall.
While a date hasn't been set, La Cantera posted a photo of the storefront on Saturday announcing Buddy V's Ristorante would call San Antonio home.

Valastro is best known for his TV show, Cake Boss which airs on TLC. The show is filmed at Valastro's family-owned bakery, Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken, New Jersey.

In the show, Valastro and his staff cook up specialty cakes for celebrity clients and brides-to-be.
Many were anxious to know whether the restaurant would have a bakery like Valastro's shop in Las Vegas, but La Cantera reps said nothing has been announced by Valastro's team.
