KSAT12 has announced it is expanding weekend news programming and adding an additional newscast at the same time. “We’re expanding our Saturday and Sunday night newscasts to one hour, 10pm-11pm beginning January 1, 2019,” said KSAT12 VP/General Manager Phil Lane, “and we’re adding a new 9 o’clock newscast on MeTV and KSAT TV, which is available on Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, and Samsung/Android Smart TVs. We are the only station that is continually growing and expanding on broadcast television and all digital platforms.”

The weekend edition of “KSAT12 Nightbeat @ 10” is anchored by Tim Gerber, Kaiti Blake with weather and Larry Ramirez on sports. Sunday’s Nightbeat @ 10 will be followed by an hour-long “Instant Replay” from 11pm-12am.
“We’re expanding on weekends and taking over on digital platforms with a brand new ‘KSAT News at 9’ ” said KSAT12 VP/General Manager Phil Lane.
On weeknights, “KSAT12 Nightbeat @ 10 with Isis Romero, Steve Spriester, Adam Caskey and Greg Simmons will air from 10:00-10:35pm as ABC moves the “Jimmy Kimmel Show” to 10:35pm beginning January 1, 2019.
