SAN ANTONIO – Culinaria's Burgers & Beer event kicked off Sunday afternoon in a covered parking lot at the Pearl Brewery.
After a morning of heavy rain and thunderstorms, a flash flood warning expired and the clouds parted just in time for hundreds to line up at the entrance.

Chefs served up their own unique versions of sliders, hot dogs and treats while a live band provided the entertainment.
Burgers & Beer was the last of the four main events of Festival Week. All proceeds will go to the Hope for Hospitality fund which raises money for culinary scholarships, Culinaria's Urban Farm project and Chefs 4 Chefs.
