SAN ANTONIO – February is National Hot Breakfast Month and recently KSAT's Facebook followers have commented that Magnolia Pancake Haus has some of the best breakfast in town.
For the past 16 years, Magnolia Pancake Haus has been serving different breakfast options, and even a lunch menu.
The first location opened up at 606 Embassy Oaks. Later, a second location was added at 10333 Huebner Road.
Owner Robert Fleming said he uses a recipe that's more than 100 years old to make their famous pancakes.
Since their first pancake was sold, San Antonio has been hooked.
"We're really grateful to San Antonio for the support we've gotten," Fleming said.
Most of the food served at Magnolia Pancake Haus is also made fresh in-house.
"We make 95 percent of the products we sell," Fleming said. "We cure our own corned beef, we cure and smoke our own Canadian bacon (and) our own smoked turkey."
When KSAT visited Magnolia recently, every customer left saying they were satisfied and that they would be back again.
