SAN ANTONIO – Thursday was a successful day in raising money to help the families of police, firefighters and first responders killed in the line of duty.
During KSAT 12's phone bank with the 100 Club of San Antonio, more than $22,500 were raised. One sole person made a donation of $2,000.

There were so many calls that we could not take them all here. They were sent to the offices of the 100 Club, plus other phone banks held Thursday. That total came out to nearly $9,300 dollars, for a whopping total of more than $31,850.
