Cookie Butter Stuffed French Toast

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup HEB Cookie Butter
- 1 loaf HEB Bare bread, white or wheat.
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened.
- 1 cup heavy Cream
- 1 cup milk
- 3 ea. eggs
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- As needed HEB Organics Maple syrup, for topping
- ½ stick Butter for cooking the French toast
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a bowl whisk together the milk, eggs, cream and cinnamon, pour into a dish big enough to soak the bread in once you stuff your bread.
2. For the cream cheese stuffing combine the cookie butter and softened cream cheese together until creamy, place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture into the center of a slice of the bread and then place another slice over the top of and press it together to seal it well on all sides (you can use a fork to crimp the edges all the way around the bread to seal it properly)
3. Dip the stuffed bread into your custard mixture on both sides then cook them in a large non-stick skillet with the butter, cook on both sides until browned, remove to a plate and drizzle with maple syrup.
