SAN ANTONIO – The arrest of a woman in connection with a murder on the West side earlier this month does not spell the end of the investigation surrounding the case.
Sandra Rivera, 32, was taken into custody Sunday night on a charge of capital murder.
Police said she confessed to stabbing Armando Alvarez, 40, to death inside his home in the 400 block of Pace Street.
A neighbor called 911 after finding his body.
Police would not elaborate on their reported plans to make more arrests, but they did say they are continuing to investigate.
At the time of the murder, detectives had issued a bulletin for the public to be on the lookout for Alvarez's missing gold Town & Country minivan. They declined to say now whether the vehicle had been located.
Police also would not release the motive for the killing, or the relationship between Alvarez and Rivera.
